On July 20-27, 2024 you will travel to the Dominican Republic to spend the week completing a project that will greatly impact a community. 

You will be working in an agrarian community of roughly 1,500 people located in a remote area of the Dominican Republic (far from the tourist beaches). Many residents live in substandard housing with dirt floors, rotting wood walls and collapsing roofs, and many don't have their own bathroom. 

During your week in the DR, you will work on a construction project to greatly improve the lives of a family through house repairs, building bathrooms, or constructing a new home. Work activities include pouring concrete foundations and reinforced concrete columns, building sturdy cinderblock walls, and attaching a proper roof.
