NYC Professionals Trip: Nov 5 – Nov 13

April 24th, 2016

IMG_0001NYC Professionals of all types are coming together to volunteer and participate in an exchange of culture within the small communities in the southwest province of San Juan in the Dominican Republic.  As we step away from the everyday, and often isolated, hustle and bustle of the big city, we grow together living, working, eating, sleeping, and sharing between ourselves and the people within these small communities.
Whether you are mixing cement or filling a bottle with sand to form a brick, there is work to be done, and laughs to be shared.
This trip is perfect for any working professional who has had the desire to serve others and experience the value of community.  Even if you are not living in NYC, but still would like to join, all are welcome to volunteer with us.  Just reach out, we’d be happy to have you.
This group will be working on housing repairs and youth development in the Dominican Republic.
“Community cannot for long feed on itself; it can only flourish with the coming of others from beyond, their unknown and undiscovered brothers.” ~Howard Thurman.
