June 25th, 2015

IMG_8855Join a group of liked minded college students for an incredible alternative break this December in Nicaragua for a week of giving back and helping out.  This one week trip just before the holidays will renew your spirit of humanity as you construct a home for a family in need of permanent shelter.  Work alongside our Nicaraguan staff and family members, embracing the sense of community and pride they project in the completion of another Bridges to Community project.

Never been on an International Service Trip? No worries!  Our staff in New York  can walk you through the registration process, help you arrange a flight and provide you with all the information you need to be prepare for your trip.  Once you land in the capital Managua, our bi-lingual staff will meet and greet you, introduce you to the others on your trip and get you setup for the night at a local hotel.

From there your week will fly bye, meeting the family you will be building a house for, hearing from Community Leaders about the impact Bridges projects are having on their community and meeting additional housing recipients.   Your days will be full working  on mixing cement and laying block during the day, afterwards enjoying a playful game of soccer or baseball with local kids.  Evenings are spent reflecting on your day and enjoying  the company of your fellow travelers and Bridges staff.

Join us for a week that will change your life!
