Hugo Gonzalez
Hugo was born in Rio Blanco in the Matagalpa department,Nicaragua, but he grew up in the municipality of Siuna, RAAN where he still lives. He used to work with his brothers and parents on a small farm called The Treasure.He went to elementry school at the Christopher Columbus Institute in Santa Rita Mulukuku then attended preparatory school at URACCAN followed by a degree in Agroforestry engineering at the same university (URACCAN). Hugo started working with Bridges to Community as a URACCAN volunteer student supporting the brigades in 2004 and now is employed as an International Volunteer Coordinator.
Since childhood, Hugo has been a lover of the natural sciences that deal with protection of natural resources and environment because he loves nature. In Hugo’s free time, he likes to visit family and friends, listen to music, watch TV, go to parties to dance and hang out.
