Diane Tukman
Diane is thrilled to join Bridges to Community after years of hearing friends and family share stories of their extraordinary experiences in Nicaragua. A social worker for over 25 years, Diane has worked extensively with non-profits in underserved communities. Professional roles have included developing national leadership programs for youth, directing a prenatal-family planning clinic in the South Bronx, and overseeing numerous grant funded projects. Most recently, Diane was responsible for the strategic development and management of a national Healthy Living Initiative at Girl Scouts of the USA.
Diane holds an undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a Master of Social Work from Boston University. She and her husband Rik live in New Rochelle, NY and have three children.
