Mid-Year Report Highlights Accomplishments

Only half way through 2010, Bridges to Community already has numerous exciting and noteworthy accomplishments in Nicaragua. Housing is up 24% over the same time last year; the Health program has attended over 4,500 patients; the Economic Development program has made loans to 37 independent businesses; Education milestones include the completion of 2 schools, new computer school equipment trained over 300 students and 80 young students received scholarships. The Service Leaning program hosted more than 50 groups from North America that include over 600 participants and our Nica staff conducted a 12 week community workshop.
