Brian Mailloux

Brian was born in Manhasset, NY. He received his undergraduate degree at Johns Hopkins, Masters at Minnesota, and PhD from Princeton, all in Geology with a focus on groundwater contamination and subsurface microbiology. He is currently an assistant professor at Barnard College.

His research work focuses on arsenic and pathogens in the shallow groundwater of Bangladesh. He has made many recent trips to Bangladesh to study water quality. He currently teaches Ecotoxicology, Intermediate Chemistry, Environmental measurements, and a Senior Seminar. He hopes to be able to help Bridges do more with water quality issues.
